4Th Assises Européennes du Paysage

The French Federation of Landscape Architecture (FFP) is currently organizing the very timely "4Th Assises Européennes du Paysage" which will be held in Strasbourg from October 26 - 28, 2009 at the Council of Europe Hemicycle. The theme is based on the relationship between sustainable development and landscape.
The first day will host very intense debates and exchanges: "Which Form for
Sustainable Development ?" The second day will be focused on "Green City" an European research project and the third day will conduct us on a regional tour to visit concrete examples and completed projects. (Simultaneous translations in English and German will be available)
Guest speakers from throughout Europe will help us create a lively and diverse exchange between landscape architects, clients, government officials and assorted professionals.
