You are invited to present a poster of your current landscape project at the 11th DIGITAL LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE CONFERENCE DLA which is being held from May 26th to 30th, 2010 in Aschersleben, Germany. Your poster will be presented to international experts in "Digital Landscape Architecture" who are from private offices as well as from research groups. Show how you use digital skills to improve our visual and ecological environment. The winning posters will receive the "DLA Poster Award 2010" and will be published in the media.
The annual DLA is organized by the Hochschule Anhalt / Anhalt University of Applied Sciences for the "Committee Information Technologies of ECLAS+LE: NOTRE". The format of the poster needs to be A0 in portrait. The pdf of your poster need to be submitted to the following review system by April, 10 2010: http://dla.loel.hs-anhalt.de/dla2010-poster/
Only poster entries of registered DLA conference participants (www.landschaftsinformatik.de --> DLA Conferences --> Registration) will be evaluated for publication in the proceedings. Please do not hesitate to submit posters late (as late as May 15, 2010). Clearly, if you miss the April dateline, we are not able to publish your data in the publication and you cannot be asked to present. However, if chosen by the jury, we publish your poster on our web documentation and you will still take part in the poster competition. Student submissions are welcome and will receive a minimum quota of 50 percent of the awards.
Student submissions needed to be entirely designed by students.
The Conference updates can be found here: www.landschaftsinformatik.de --> DLA Conferences Finally, also attached is the document in jpeg format which gives slightly more detailed information about the competition. Hope so the information provided is enough to start the work.
We look forward to receiving the best possible option for the poster and to hearing your ideas about the concept as soon as possible! Best wishes on behalf of DLA Program Committee Sarita Mahadik
