Focus for this first studytrip in 2008 will be interesting parks in Berlin and surroundings (especially with good arenas for children and youth). We will also visit 2-3 of the best schoolyards in Berlin. The language spoken on the trip will be English.
PRELIMINARY PROGRAM
Day 1 - Friday June 6 (0900-1800, - including dinner near or in Britzer Garten). With bus.
1) FEZ Wuhlheide. Big park with a lot of interesting elements.
2) "Kids in Bewegung" project with landscape architect Birgit Teichmann.

5) "Ayers Rock" - Playground and park in Tempelhof - Schöneberg
6) Britzer Garten - with a lot of interesting elements for children and youth. Meeting with the artist Rainer Warzecha in the park.

Day 2 - Saturday June 7. (09.00-16.00). On rented bikes.

5) Adventure Playground "Kolle"
6) Mauerpark (a part of it, near Kinderbauernhof)
7) Volkspark Friedrichshein (using long time here, including lunch in the park, on bikes, 2. day) Neumark-Grundschule and Galilei-Grundschule with Birgit Teichmann (if possible)
Culture program on Saturday evening
Day 3 - Sunday June 8. Potsdam. Boat and train.

2) 'Lenné-Schule' with many interesting Kids-Projects
3) Quartierspark in Waldstadt II
4) Sans Souci and the park
